The reinterpretation of a classic piece of uniform: The Pitchfork Systems Gorka 4
Made from a high-quality 50/50 polyester-cotton blended fabric specially developed for the Pitchfork product line, the products withstand even the most adverse conditions. The camouflage fabric has a technologically advanced "near infrared" (nIR) treatment to reduce the visual signature when viewed through a modern military night vision device. The properties of the camouflage pattern therefore remain intact in the dark, the material generally reflects light only very slightly. Remark: The gray-brown fabric used in the two-color version has no special nIR treatment.
The basic concept of the original has been retained as much as possible so that the "tactical pajama" character, as expected by users of a Gorka uniform, is not lost. Accordingly, the uniform feels comfortable when worn, it gives a lot of freedom of movement.
The pants have been kept simple and are reduced to the essentials with elastic on the top around the hip. If needed a belt up to 6cm width can be used and in the leg end an adjustable elastic with stopper can be found. The pants can be closed by velcro or additionally by a hidden button. The back pockets have not only buttons but also velcro closures, the same applies to the side cargo pockets. On the inside of the side pockets two elastic loops on each side can be found to hold equipment in place (magazines, watch caps, gloves, etc.). Back and knee area are equipped with an additional layer of fabric.
